Canada Goldenrod
Solidago canadensis (Solidago altissima)

Canada goldenrod is a variable plant. The species Solidago canadensis now includes tall goldenrod (Solidago canadensis var. scabra), which was formerly considered to be a separate species (Solidago altissima). See the second and third photos below.
