Alien: Native of Europe.
Identification: A vine. Flowers small (1 inch or less in length) petunialike with five fused petals. Flower white or pinkish. Leaves small (1 to 2 inches in length), arrowhead-shaped, rear margins with pointed projections.
Distribution: Throughout North America.
Habitat: Field Bindweed is a weed of disturbed habitats climbing over shrubs and other herbaceous plants in fields, along roadsides, and around bushes in urban and suburban areas.
Flowering period: June to September.
