These images do not show the plant flower, but the eventual seed case. As with all chickweeds, the flower has 5 white petals, deeply, divided so that they may appear to be 10. Stems are hairy. Leaves are opposite with flowers emerging on long stalks from the leaf axils.
Nodding chickweed is very common on waste ground such as road margins.
