Alien: Native of Europe.
Identification: Flowers pink with 5 narrow petals. Petals with upper margin ragged and spotted with white. Center of flower slightly lighter than the rest, demarcated with a vague, darker ring. Flowers in small clusters near the top of the plant and surrounded by stiff, bristly flower bracts. Stem thin, stiff. Upper leaves very narrow and elongate. Lower leaves larger and slightly broader. Plant 8 to 20 inches in height.
