All of the meadow rues have leaves that look like this - 3 times divided. The flowers grow in large cluster that branch. The flowers also have long stalks. Early meadow rue has green flowers with drooping yellow anthers. This plant blooms in early spring in rocky woods reaching a height of 20 to 24 inches.
