    Other names: lace buttons, sweet scabious, tall   white weed, whitetop 
    The flower has a long stem with hairs. The flower head has 40 or more   white to pale pink rays surrounding the center yellow disk.
    The leaves' size varies from one- inch to five inches. The leaves are   hairy in texture.
   
  
    
      The flower blooms in the months of March through October. You may   find this flower on roadsides and fields all over the United   States.
      Some people used to say that the Daisy Fleabane could rid a house of   fleas. If someone was pregnant and wanted to know the sex of her child, she   would plant a seed. When it bloomed, if the flower was tinted pink it was a   girl, or if tinted blue it was a boy.
