Platanthera clavellata
Leaf: Single, rarely two, lance-shaped low on the stem.
Stem: Up 14 inches tall, smooth with prominent vertical veining.
Flowers: About one-quarter inch wide and tall. Yellowish-green. Older flowers twisted so they seem to be lying on their sides.
Sepals and Petals: Sepals and petals are folded forward with dorsal sepal and the petals forming a hood over the lip which is nearly rectangular, slightly wider at the tip. Tip is shallowly 3-lobed. The spur is thickest near the end.
